Here is a back and front magazine cover layout I designed for Verve magazine for a class assignment in Graphic Design 2 at Yavapai College. The front's typography was inspired by a vintage Beatles magazine cover I found. I love the bold contrast between the black and red. The back cover photo was taken by a classmate of mine, and I thought it was stunning. I added the definition of the word verve which includes energy.
